Is Jenny R. Yang the next accuser in the Supreme Court nomination fiasco?

Is Jenny Yang, attorney, the second accuser in the Judge Brett Kavanaugh Supreme Court nomination fiasco?

Yang worked as Chair of the U.S. Department of Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) until Jan. 3rd. Her term expired July 1st, 2017. Donald J. Trump was elected President on Nov. 9th, 2016.

The goal, she said, was “to keep the EEOC tipped to the left”.

She said she “wanted to do my part to help continue (Obama policies) until we had our successors on board, and I'm glad that I have”.

Yang said she enabled Obama Administration “inclusive policies” and “LGBT protections” deep into the Trump Presidency. LGBT means lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender.

Her statements were made in an Oct. 2nd, 2017 interview linked here:

She said the other two Obama appointed EEOC Commissioners also stayed on past their terms for the same reason — to keep a Democrat majority on the five-member Commission.

Yang was Senior Trial Attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division, Employment Litigation Section.

Kil Huh, her husband, is director of the States' Fiscal Health Project at the Pew Charitable Trusts. Before joining Pew, he was director of policy and consulting at the Fannie Mae Foundation.

Some say General Counsel for the EEOC is more important than their Commissioners. It is the General Counsel who decides who the EEOC sues.

President Trump nominated Janet Dhillon to replace Jenny Yang as EEOC Commissioner on June 29th, 2017.

Dhillon is still waiting to be confirmed by the Senate.
