Prosecutors filed an appeal today in the Flynn Intel Group (FIG) criminal case.

They disagreed with all the court’s:

• rulings

• orders

A jury found the former CEO of Flynn Intel Group, Bijan Kian Rafiekian, guilty of:

• conspiracy to falsify his identity as a spy for Turkey

• being a Turkish spy

Then the Trial Judge Anthony Trenga reversed their decision.

He tossed it out.

Trenga said he messed up the case by giving them wrong instructions.

He recommended a new trial.

By a different jury.

The prosecutors filed no such motion.

Do they have to?

No.

They can decide to drop the charges.

Maybe they already did.

Meanwhile, Rafiekian is free on bond.

He faced up to 15-years in prison.

Prosecutors never filed a motion to jail him.

They never said Kian was a flight risk.

However, Kian placed his home in California up for sale Dec. 17th, the day before he was charged.
